To encourage a higher level of energy efficiency, NBU will offer the rebate for those customers who purchase and install a split system air conditioning unit and/or heat pump that has a minimum rating of 16 SEER or a package air conditioning system and/ or heat pump with a minimum rating of 15 SEER. As the SEER rating increases, so does the dollar amount. The amount of rebate available is from $200 to $500, depending on SEER ratings and the addition of a heat pump.
