Guidelines for NBU Ultra Low Flow Toilet Rebate Program

1. Rebates are applied on any Ultra Low Flow (ULF) toilet (1.6 gallon/flush) purchased and become effective April 1, 2006. Toilets must be purchased and installed on or after April 1 to qualify for the rebate.
2. The program is made available to NBU residential water customers only.
3. The program offers one $50 rebate per toilet. Limit two rebates per residential customer.
4. The customer shall complete the NBU rebate application available at the NBU Main Office at 263 Main Plaza or online here (PDF) and submit it with an original unaltered and dated sales receipt for NBU approval as proof of purchase.
5. Rebates are paid in the form of credit, which will be applied to the customer’s water bill following verification of installation. NBU may confirm installation of ULF toilet by a post-installation inspection. A customer’s signature on the application implies consent to a postinstallation inspection at NBU’s discretion and certifies that installation has taken place.
6. New building construction and room additions DO NOT qualify for the rebate program.
7. Replacement of an existing ULF toilet DOES NOT qualify for the rebate program.
