Payment Options


Our goal is to make paying your NBU bill as easy, convenient and secure as possible. We’ve provided many different ways to pay, so you can select the one that works best for you. This includes:

Pay Online– Make a payment from your checking or savings, or with Visa, MasterCard, or E-check. Simply register your account with Customer Connect. You can also view your account information.

Pay by Phone – 24 hours a day/7 days a week by calling our automated phone payment service. Simply call 1-855-215-5938 to make your payment by Visa, MasterCard, or E-check.

You can also call our office on any business day, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pay by Visa or MasterCard.

Automatic Monthly Payments – Sign up for Auto Draft, our FREE monthly automatic payment program. You still get a statement every month with the amount that is automatically drafted on the due date from your savings or checking account.

Pay by MailTo pay by mail, simply detach your payment stub from your utility bill and include it along with your check or money order.

Pay in Person – Our Main Office is conveniently located in Downtown New Braunfels. You can either pay at the front counter or at our drive through located next to Naeglin’s Bakery. Our night depository is also located at the drive-through (no cash payments accepted in the night depository).

Pay by Western Union – You can choose to use Western Union Convenience Pay Service at participating area stores. All you need is your payment stub from your NBU bill and your payment can be made with a check, cash or money order.*

*Some locations are cash only.

Budget Billing – Our Budget Billing program can give you peace of mind by making your utility bill as predictable as your rent or mortgage. This simple plan ensures that you pay about the same amount every month—summer and winter.

Payment Assistance – If you are having trouble paying your bill—or you would like to assist others who may need help—we have services available:
