On June 29, 2006, the NBU Board of Trustees approved a revision to the policies governing the extension of and connection to NBU electric services. Approved was a compilation of two separate documents.

The Electrical Procedural Manual contains procedures, technical information, and specifications for electric construction as required by the customer and may be revised as directed by NBU Management. For ease of use, this publication also references the most frequently used excerpts from the Electrical Connection Policy.

The Electrical Connection Policy is the standard used by NBU in its design of electric facilities. It is approved by the Board and requires Board approval of any revisions.
