Special events have become a part of New Braunfels and are enjoyed by people from local, regional, state, national and international backgrounds. There are a limited number of locations in New Braunfels that are equipped with the necessary equipment to display banners on utility poles. Scheduling of installation is on a first-come, first-served basis no more than 6 months from the requested date of installation.
Banners may be used for the following public events upon compliance with the established procedures:
- Events of a charitable or humanitarian nature;
- Events of an educational, scholastic or artistic nature;
- Other events of community or public interest which are non-political in nature and are for the benefit of a non-profit group.
