Quarterly PEERS Award presented to NBU employee

NEW BRAUNFELS—NBU employee Mike Kroner was recently recognized with the PEERS Award for the first quarter of 2004 by his co-workers for his job performance and commitment. PEERS stands for Performance, Effort, Efficiency, Recognition and Selection. All NBU employees are encouraged to submit nominations for this award on a quarterly basis. NBU managers review submittals along with the individuals’ performance and decide on an employee who has excelled in his or her duties for that time period.

Kroner joined NBU as a Customer Service Representative in October 2000. In June 2001, he transferred to the Technology Division where he serves as a Technology Assistant Tech II. Kroner performed a yeoman’s job in preparing the new NBU Service Center for occupation earlier this month. That has included working with executives, managers and supervisors in order to ensure that all their technology needs were met prior to the move-in day. His energy and focus was a major contributing factor in the fact that phones, data and desktop services were working on the first day of occupancy.

For his efforts, his co-workers are proud to present Mike Kroner with the PEERS Award for the first quarter of 2004.
