NBU schedules valve replacements at Castell Ave. and Butcher St.

NEW BRAUNFELS—Area drivers may experience delays on Monday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 12 as NBU crews replace water valves at the intersection of Castell Avenue and Butcher Street. Butcher Street will be closed to traffic while the work is being performed and Castell Avenue may be reduced to one lane of traffic at times. This is necessary in order to maneuver equipment and ensure the safety of crews working in the area, as well as to expedite the project. The work will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 5 p.m. both days.

Drivers who typically access the area are advised to seek an alternate route during this time to avoid delays. NBU crews will be working to complete the project as quickly as possible and minimize any inconvenience to area residents.
