S&P reaffirms NBU bond rating

NEW BRAUNFELS—Recent rains have allowed the San Marcos Spring flow to recover to a point that the Edwards Aquifer Authority has rescinded Stage I Drought Restrictions for the area. Mayor Bruce Boyer has declared that New Braunfels Stage I watering restrictions will no longer be in effect as of Wednesday, January 24.

Although the Stage I restrictions have been lifted, NBU water customers are reminded that watering with a sprinkler or irrigation system before 10 a.m. and after 8 p.m. is prohibited year-round.

Customers can get the latest watering restrictions 24-hours a day by calling the NBU Information Line at (830) 608-8925. Reports of water violations can also be made at this number.
