(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 July 15, 2022) \u2013 The New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) Surface Water Treatment Plant Capital Improvement Project, scheduled for completion in the spring of 2023, continues on schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pesado Construction, NBU\u2019s contractor, is working to install the Projects\u2019 24-inch and 30-inch water line from East Common Street t Green Road. The contractor will close part of Rivercrest Drive between Gruene Road and Loop 337 beginning Monday, July 18, through Friday, August 26, 2022, to perform the open-cut pipe installation. One-way traffic control with detours will be in place along Rivercrest Drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon completing the more than $11.5 million SWTP Project, residents will benefit from the increased transmission capacity supporting the Landa Park Pump Station. This capital improvement project is another example of NBU\u2019s commitment to ensuring resilience in its utility system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
