The two sessions will address concerns raised by the community<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) invites the community to attend an Electric Forum planned for Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 9:00 \u2013 11:00 a.m. or 6:00 \u2013 8:00 p.m., <\/strong>at the New Braunfels Civic and Convention Center, 375 S. Castell Avenue, New Braunfels, Texas.  The forums are designed to address NBU customers\u2019 electric bill concerns, and will be offered at two times to accommodate as many schedules as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forums will begin with a presentation offered by NBU Chief Executive Officer Ian Taylor, followed by breakout sessions.  The breakout sessions will provide citizens the opportunity to talk with NBU representatives to learn more about operations, billing support, and conservation resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakout sessions will allow participants to speak to NBU experts about:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Electric Market
\u2022 Hedging and Power Supply Program
\u2022 PCRA and Winter Storm Recovery
\u2022 Conservation and Rebates
\u2022 Consumption Alerts
\u2022 Payment Plans and Late Fees \u2013 Stations will be available to set up payment plans
\u2022 Capital Improvement Projects
\u2022 Solar Energy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
