One-Way Traffic Control between Loop 337 and Fair Lane begins Monday, August 29, 2022<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 August 25, 2022) \u2013 The New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) Surface Water Treatment Plant Capital Improvement Project continues on schedule with installation of the projects\u2019 24-inch and 30-inch water line from East Common Street to Gruene Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pesado Construction, NBU\u2019s contractor, will close part of Rivercrest Drive between Loop 337 and Fair Lane beginning Monday, August 29, 2022, through Friday, September 16, 2022,<\/strong> to perform the open-cut pipe installation. One-way traffic control with a detour route on Hillcrest Drive will be in place along Rivercrest Drive. Vehicular traffic should expect delays, varying lane conditions, and flaggers directing traffic. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained for the duration of construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completion of the more than $11.5 million SWTP Project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2023. This project will provide additional transmission capacity to deliver clean, high-quality drinking water to our community now and decades into the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
