(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 September 6, 2023) The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) canceled the Energy Emergency Alert (EEA) Level 2, Level 1, and returned to normal operations at approximately 8:45 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumers are still urged to reduce their electric consumption as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers are encouraged to view ERCOT\u2019s daily peak demand forecast, current load, and available generation online at ercot.com<\/a> or by downloading the ERCOT mobile app (available for download at the Apple App Store and Google Play). For the latest grid conditions updates, please follow ERCOT on Twitter (@ERCOT_ISO<\/a>). ERCOT also offers the Texas Advisory and Notification System (TXANS). More information on how to sign up is available at ercot.com\/txans<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Braunfels Utilities encourages customers to enroll in our Electric Outage Text Notification program by texting \u201cNBU\u201d to 830.629.4628 or call 830.629.8400 during business hours Monday \u2013 Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Updates will be posted on nbutexas.com<\/a> and NBU’s Facebook page at facebook.com\/newbraunfelsutilities<\/a> and X at @nbutexas<\/a>.
