(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 December 18, 2023) \u2013 New Braunfels Utilities\u2019 contractor, Pesado Construction, is entering Phase Two of the IH 35 Waterline Project with expected completion on Friday, March 1, 2024<\/strong>. Merriweather Street will be closed from Gross Avenue to S Seguin Avenue to maneuver equipment, materials, and crews safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 9,000 feet of water main will connect the Castell water main to the Avery Park water main. The $8 million project is important for expanding infrastructure for the summer demand that is expected in 2024 and beyond.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
