(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 July 6, 2021) \u2013 New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) will close Market Avenue between Meusebach and Zink Streets today, Tuesday, July 6, to Thursday, July 15, 2021, to construct bore pits needed to bore beneath Meusebach Street. Traffic on Market Avenue will be detoured to Meusebach Street, Seguin Avenue, and Zink Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This work is being performed as part of the Castell Avenue 24-inch Water Line Project \u2013 West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The section of Zink Street between Seguin Avenue and Landa Street should be open to traffic.
Sidewalks remain open to pedestrians to access businesses in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiess Construction Company, Ltd. is the contractor performing the construction of the 24-inch water and wastewater line for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Braunfels Utilities will provide up to date traffic impacts for Capital Improvement Projects such as this one on nbutexas.com\/current-construction-impacts-and-road-closures<\/a>, and on its Facebook<\/a> and Twitter<\/a> social media channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
