(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 July 9, 2021) \u2013 New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) has opened the intersection at Castell Avenue and Mill Street. Castell Avenue between Mill Street and Bridge Street will be now be closed until July 14, 2021, to continue installation of the 24-inch waterline along Castell Avenue. Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians to access businesses in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiess Construction Company, Ltd. is the contractor performing the construction on the 24-inch water and wastewater line for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Braunfels Utilities will provide up to date traffic impacts for Capital Improvement Projects such as this one on nbutexas.com\/current-construction-impacts-and-road-closures, and on its Facebook and Twitter social media channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.
