(New Braunfels, TX \u2013 July 20, 2021) \u2013 New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) will close Castell Avenue at the Union Pacific Railroad tracks between Elm Street and Nacogdoches Street on Monday, July 26, 2021, through Friday, October 29, 2021, to install bore pits beneath the tracks as it continues work on the 24-inch water line along Castell Avenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contractor will ensure at least one side of the street will remain accessible to pedestrians throughout the construction process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D. Guerra Construction Company is the contractor performing the construction for this part of the
24-inch water and wastewater line project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Braunfels Utilities will provide up to date traffic impacts for Capital Improvement Projects such as this one on nbutexas.com\/current-construction-impacts-and-road-closures, and on its Facebook and Twitter social media channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.
