The system automatically reports the outage for your location when you send a message.

Stay Updated:

Get real-time updates throughout the restoration process until power is restored.

If you’re affected by an electric outage, you can text #Status to 830.629.4628 to receive an update on your location. NBU’s notification system will reply with the current status of the outage and any available restoration information.

Whether you reported the outage or were automatically notified by NBU, you’ll receive a text message once power has been restored to your location.
