Native Shade and Ornamental Trees for Comal County
Planting a tree is more than just adding shade or beauty to your yard — it’s an investment in the health of your land, your community, and future generations. But not all trees are created equal, especially when it comes to thriving in the unique climate and soil of Comal County.
Join Deedy Wright for an informative and down-to-earth workshop where you’ll learn how to choose the right native tree for the right place. We’ll explore a variety of trees native to the Texas Hill Country — species that are naturally adapted to our region’s conditions, require less water, support local wildlife, and stand strong through drought and storms.
