NBU and Oakview Subdivision Consumer Confidence Reports now available

NEW BRAUNFELS—The annual NBU and Oakview Subdivision Consumer Confidence Reports are now available for viewing on the NBU web site at www.nbutexas.com under the About Us tab. The direct link for the NBU report is http://www.nbutexas.com/NBU2015waterreport. The direct link for the Oakview Subdivision report is http://www.nbutexas.com/Oakview2015waterreport.

“We prepare an annual water quality report for customers on the NBU water system as well as those on the Oakview Subdivision water system. These reports summarize the results of our water monitoring program as required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) during 2015,” NBU Public Affairs Manager Gretchen Reuwer says. “Many of the analyses are required by the Safe Drinking Water Act and other regulations; however, we monitor for contaminants above and beyond the basic requirements. The report is a summary of the quality of the water we provide our customers. But more importantly, it is their assurance that the water we produce is regulated and continues to meet or exceed all federal and state drinking water requirements.”

For more than 50 years, water supplied by NBU has met and surpassed all state and federal drinking water standards. Unless otherwise indicated, the information in the reports is based on tests conducted in 2015. Customers with questions regarding the report or who would like a paper report are asked to call (830) 608-8901.
