Sewer work requires Comal Avenue closure

NEW BRAUNFELS—NBU crews are replacing a sewer service in the 100 block of Comal Avenue that requires a street closure and traffic detour. The work is expected to be completed by the end of day on Wednesday, April 6. Comal Avenue be closed between Tolle and Napoleon Streets between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. No thru traffic will be allowed during the closure with the exception of residents living in the immediate vicinity.

Drivers who typically use this stretch of Comal Avenue will need to seek an alternate route while the work is being performed. The closure is necessary in order to safely maneuver crews and needed equipment. Delays can be expected while this portion of the project is being completed. Crews will be working to complete the project as quickly as possible. Questions about the project can be directed to the NBU Water O&M Division at 830-608-8831.
