New Location, Same Friendly Faces

At New Braunfels Utilities (NBU), we are dedicated to delivering reliable, customer-focused services to our vibrant community. Our brand-new Customer Solutions Center (CSC) is designed to provide an enhanced customer experience with a welcoming lobby, in-person support and a convenient drive-up payment drop box. The new location provides easier access and avoids disruptions from event-related downtown road closures. The CSC will provide a convenient environment for customers to manage accounts, seek assistance, and explore energy-saving solutions, and is a part of NBU’s five-year plan for expanded employee workspace. From personalized service to hands-on resources, the Customer Solutions Center is your one-stop destination for everything NBU. Scroll down to check out the video!

“This facility allows us to better serve our customers today while we plan for tomorrow,” said NBU CEO Ryan Kelso. “As New Braunfels continues to grow, our future headquarters will consolidate operations into a single building, helping us work more efficiently and support the evolving needs of our community for years to come.”

Committed to Fiscal Responsibility

NBU’s comprehensive five-year plan identified the need for expanded employee workspace. Rather than opting for a lease that would waste valuable resources, NBU made a strategic decision to purchase an existing vacant building from the City of New Braunfels. This approach not only demonstrates NBU’s commitment to fiscal responsibility but also allowed for the reuse of key materials, such as doors, fences and gates. By leveraging internal teams for labor and renovation, we were able to save over $300,000 supporting a cost-effective solution.

While temporary, the CSC is an essential step in NBU’s broader mission to provide exceptional customer service while meeting the demands of the rapid growth of New Braunfels.

Since our drive-thru will be permanently closing, we invite you to discover other convenient payment methods on our Ways to Pay page.
