Roadwork is Part of the New Braunfels Utilities Castell Avenue-East 24-inch Water Line Project
(New Braunfels, TX – November 16, 2022) – The Castell Avenue 24-inch Water Line – East infrastructure work at Castell Avenue and Coll Street intersection has been extended to Friday, November 18, 2022.
D. Guerra Construction, New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) contractor, will install the infrastructure for a 12-inch wastewater line. Vehicular traffic should expect barriers at the Castell Avenue and Coll Street intersections and posted detour routes.
The Castell Avenue 24-Inch Water Line – East major infrastructure improvement project, located in the downtown New Braunfels area, is designed to increase water transmission capacity and reliability by replacing severely aged infrastructure. These improvements are expected to reduce water main breaks, leading to fewer maintenance events and lowering long-term repair costs.
New Braunfels Utilities will provide up-to-date traffic impacts for Capital Improvement Projects such as this one on nbutexas.com/current-construction-impacts-and-road-closures.
All work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting.
Contact Desirae Medellin at 830.608.8971 or dmedellin@nbutexas.com with any questions regarding the Project.
