(New Braunfels, TX – January 30, 2023) – With the winter weather conditions upon us, the New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) service territory is anticipating freezing temperatures and precipitation, which may cause ice accumulation in some areas. With the safety of our NBU customers and employees in mind, the NBU lobbies and drive-through will delay opening until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023; however, daily operations will remain uninterrupted.

Customer Service inquiries should be directed to 830.629.8400. The latest operational updates will be posted on the NBU website at nbutexas.com, on Facebook at facebook.com/newbraunfelsutilities, and through local and regional news outlets. Additionally, weather resources, like how to winterize your home, generator safety, and the NBU up-to-date Outage Viewer Maps that provide status information on electric and water outages, can be found online.
